A new kind of Mario game that you can play with one hand.
You control Mario by tapping as he constantly runs forward. You time your taps to pull off stylish jumps, midair spins, and wall jumps to gather coins and reach the goal!
Super Mario Run can be downloaded for free and after you purchase the game, you will be able to play all the modes with no additional payment required. You can try out all three modes before purchase: World Tour, Toad Rally, and Kingdom Builder.
â World Tour
Run and jump with style to rescue Princess Peach from Bowserâs clutches!
Travel through plains, caverns, ghost houses, airships, castles, and more...
To reach Bowserâs Castle, clear the 24 courses located across 6 worlds. There are many ways to enjoy the courses, such as collecting the 3 different types of colored coins or by competing for the highest score against your friends. You can try courses 1-1 to 1-4 for free.
â Toad Rally
Show off Marioâs stylish moves, compete against your friends, and challenge people from all over the world.
A challenge mode where the competition differs each time you play.
Compete against the stylish moves of other players for the highest score as you gather coins and get cheered on by a crowd of Toads. Fill the gauge with stylish moves to enter Coin Rush Mode to get more coins. If you win the rally, the cheering Toads will come live in your kingdom, and your kingdom will grow.
â Kingdom Builder
Gather coins and Toads to build your very own kingdom.
Combine different buildings and decorations to create your own unique kingdom. There are over 100 kinds of items in the Kingdom Builder mode. If you get more Toads in Toad Rally, the number of buildings and decorations available will increase. With the help of the friendly Toads you can gradually build up your kingdom.
â What You Can Do After Purchasing All Worlds
ã» All courses in World Tour are playable
You can play all 24 courses over all 6 worlds. Why not try out the bigger challenges and thrills available in all courses?
ã» More playable characters
If you complete course 6-4 to rescue Peach, and build homes for Luigi, Yoshi, and Toadette in Kingdom Builder, you can get them to join your adventures as playable characters. They play differently to Mario, so why not put their special characteristics to good use in World Tour and Toad Rally?
ã» More courses in Toad Rally
The types of courses available in Toad Rally will increase to seven different types of courses, expanding the fun! In the new additions, Purple and Yellow Toads may also come to cheer for you.
ã» More buildings and decorations in Kingdom Builder
The types of building available will increase, so you'll be able to make your kingdom even more lively. You can also place Rainbow Bridges to expand your kingdom.
*Internet connectivity required to play. Data charges may apply.

Finally, a challenging game that isn't pay - to - win. I'll gladly pay $9.99 if it means it unlocks a great game. Even the free part is several hours of fun. I hope more games like this are developed. So sick of free pay - to - win games. It definitely captures that consistent Nintendo theme we've seen throughout the development of the Nintendo consoles. Feels very much like a version of Super Mario World, but its a runner. Please make more for android, Nintendo! Full Review

A well thought out game! I've played Mario since early 80's and demo is really fun. Will buy this game in future and won't hold my breath waiting for price to drop, because that won't happen. Only issue I have is no offline mode. Game will not run unless connected to internet. I hope that changes in future. Also if you get a text during rally, game doesn't pause and you will be at risk of a loss. Full Review

You cant die like the original. It runs and jumps over enemies for you and all you do is tap the screen to jump (even though it already jumps for you). Its too easy and easy mode isnt even turned on. You get to play four levels out of 30 then you must pay $10 to keep playing. I wouldnt spend an hour of my hard earned money for such a simple game. Make it more complex and maybe people would be willing to pay for it Full Review

HEY NINTENDO! SOME PEOLE SAID THIS WAS A JOKE. I DIDNT TRUST THEM! Thank you very much. Im a 8 year old kid that loves Nintendo. Please make more stuff. I hope you think this is active. I love it! Thank you for giving me the last level in World 1. I dont care if its $10.00. 1 Month Later... I bought the game! Incredible! I beat all of the levels, have all of the characters, and toad rally is better! And again we all love you! Full Review

If you want to play the same 4 levels get the free version. If you want to do anything else you have to pay 10 dollars. Including unlocking the rest of the game. In my oppinion this had the potential to be an amazing f2p game on mobile but with the limitations you are placed under, doesn't even count as a (longer than a day or two) time waster. If the game let you unlock the rest of the levels by upgrading your kindom I would return. Full Review

Nothing like Mario! Have a game that the character constantly runs, without the option to run back, all ready exist! Called Minion run and others. Same game mechanics then slap a coat of Mario on it. Still a running game that you can just run. Then pay money for all the levels you do, the, same, thing, over and over again. Stick with what ya know Nintendo. Which is good ole fashioned game consoles. Full Review

It's pay to play but not pay to play? Basically what your getting is a great gameplay experience and, on top of that, a demo for a full game. The game's pretty cheap too. My only gripe is the collect-athon aspect to access the first castle for free. Its far too easy, especially since the game in and of itself is pretty simple to control. On that topic, the controls are fantastic and simple. It's just some blind taps and timing. Full Review

Nintendo, you convinced me to buy this game in full. Haven't done it yet, but in the next few days I sure as hell am. I've loved Mario since I was a boy with a GameCube and although I downloaded Run a few days ago, yesterday I really sunk my teeth into it and know it's good. Tap to jump and in true Mario fashion. collect coins. And with a My Nintendo account you can earn silver points for in-game feats, so link your accounts, everyone! Full Review

While this is a really solid platformer (impressive for essentially only having one single jump button), this game needs a better endgame. The only thing to do is grind for more toads, which is incredibly repetitive. The good news is at least the game mechanics are really good, so the grind could be worse. I played it for a long time and, I would say I got my money's worth. I do recommend purchasing the full game. Full Review

I have always loved playing Mario games because they are fun and casual. This game is not at all casual, and that compromises its fun factor. The PvP Toad Rally requires a flawless run to advance. One mistake, and you lose progress. That's a pretty stressful game mechanic. I understand the inclusion of the Toad Rally to increase the replay value of this game, but is it really necessary to lose progress in this mode? Full Review

OK, I'll try and make this somewhat brief. I play this game alot, I payed the outrageous price of $10, and I'm almost done with it. It's got great graphics and good gameplay (for a one tap game). But much like all the other complaints, it's $10 damn dollars. That's alot for any mobile game good or great. So even though I bought the game I can advise others that it is not worth it to buy it. I know this is going to be harsh. This takes all of the fun and danger out of Mario! If you can only use one hand to play Mario, you are doing something else that requires your other hand and your focus. You need more control because it's too easy otherwise. I just want to have play some levels that I love, but this is twisted to make you build and "rally Toads" which us NOT what I was looking for. Want old school Mario? Look somewhere else, this sucks. Nintendo does it again! They've created one of the best runner games out there while keeping the Mario and Nintendo spirit alive. Of course it's not free, but at least it's just a one time payment (unlike other premium gaming apps). My only major complaint is that it doesn't let you play your own music. There's an option to shut off the in-game music but it will not let you play any other music simultaneously. Full Review

I've played every game in the Mario series. This is a great Mario game, very fun and addictive. The $10 price tag is a little pricey, I think $5 would be fair. But you can tell they put a lot of work and pride into it. It takes a few months to unlock EVERYTHING also it always fun and competitive racing against others. Full Review

This game is fantastic. I have one suggestion though, if anyone is reading. I've maxed out most of the objectives except for a few of the items you need a TON of specific color toads to get. I have way too many tickets to use in any reasonable time frame and one special building or two is more than enough to refill it back to 99 daily. I'd like to see it where I could wager 5, 10, 25 tickets on one rally run and get that x the prize if I win. As for coins, they really don't mean much either so what if there was a building in game that let you exchange coins for tickets, especially if you're wagering them on rally play? Other than that, I love it except I'm kinda done because there's nothing new to play and you don't get enough toads to finish the game at a time as is. Full Review

Its a fun game but sometimes the controls can be really tricky if you don't hit them just right. The one thing I don't like is how far can this game possibly go? Once you save the princess, only the rally's are left and when you unlock all items, then what? Other than that, very fun,but challenging game Full Review

I've changed my score from a 5 to a 4, and here's why: there's just simply not enough content. The game is FUN, the music is GOOD, the gameplay is SIMPLE YET SATISFYING, but there's not enough substance for a game that costs $10. With only 24 levels, the game is very short. After finishing the game in an hour, it begs the question: what else is there to do? Toad Rally is fun at first, but becomes a grind after a while, and I don't really care for all the fluffy animations and loading times that's keeping me from fighting my next opponent. And I would have fun building up my kingdom... if I felt rewarded, that is. Ultimately, this game as it is just doesn't have enough substance to justify the $10 admission fee. Either add more content, or lower the price to $5. Super Mario Run is a good game, though, and I hope they earn my time again. I would love to jump back into it, and experience something new that isn't Toad Rally. Full Review

I actually thought, oww Nintendo isn't completely a money grabbing company, which make gimmicky stupid games. I thought they are going to make a fun free game, you get a total of 10 minutes before they start charging you for world's, and other in-game purchases. It's okay for 10 minutes but then I'd just uninstall or just pay money. Full Review

One word. Frustrating. Everything from the pacing of the game "running" to the controls where you automatically vault over gombas and some obstacles messes with you in a not so good way. The progression on one half of the game is a gambling system. Win, you get points or "toads" to progress, lose and you lose hard earned toads. You must beat another hard core player's run to win which adds to the frustration. If you could control the speed of the run at all it would be better but it's just "meh" as it sits. Avoid until further tweaking. Full Review

I think this game is very fun. If you take your time to learn the basics of the controls, which is simply to tap, you'll come to know that timing is everything. The simplicity of this game is what makes it very fun. Update June 27th: something is up with this game. Your opponent happens to get more yellow stars when they aren't even attainable. This is very questionable. Full Review

I have spent hours and hours of my life on this game- definitely worth the $10. Beautifully simple but complex gameplay that only really exhibits itself on higher level toad runs. Also, very fun to play while drunk. Kingdom customization is a totally worthless feature though. Ignore. Full Review

Really wanted to like it but as others said it's boring or frustrating or both. Later levels are much better though. Still the rally is extremely poorly implemented. You get punished for playing if you lose. There's no option to restart. They match based on how well you do rather than # of toads so you're guaranteed to spend the same amount of time playing to get the toads even if you're terrible. I don't pay for time based reward games... All those are free. Full Review

It's annoying that it won't let anyone continue past the first world without making a purchase, effectively ruining the game unless a player pays. I had fun on the first world, though. Run, jump, collect coins, play against others, built up a mushroom village thing. Full Review

It is way too short. Got the green coins in all the starting worlds and that's all you get before you have to pay. Why can't I use coins or the special coins to unlock more world's? It makes no sense to pay. Wait until they get the picture and give some alternative means of continuing the game! Full Review

I can't rate anything on this game because it does nothing but stop working. I can't get past the Nintendo screen. Fix this soon and I might change my rating. Don't fix it soon and I'm going to uninstall it and remove it from my games list. Addition: your "bug fix" on March 27th didn't fix the issue of this game crashing at the load screen. Fix it. Edit: your may "bug fix" didn't fix my problem. It says Nintendo then the red screen goes blank. Please fix. Android marshmallow user. Full Review

It's a good game. But sucks u only get 3 levels. U have to pay real money for the rest of the levels. Getting boring now that I've gotten all the coins for all the levels, pink, purple, grey, except maybe 1 level cause they made it imposibile to get them. But I think it's time to uninstall. Other than having to buy the rest of the levels , it's a great game. U can race others to level up ur castle some are rigged some are fair. It was fun while it lasted. I'm uninstalling. Too boring . Great to finally get Nintendos high level of polish on a mobile game. Simple idea that many other games do, but Nintendo brings it to next level. Unfortunately it does get repetitive, and for the asking price you'd expect more. Loses at least a star for always on requirement, unplayable on planes etc for no technical reason. Punishing paying customers and crippling your game while pirates can play the game offline....not a great strategy. Full Review

There's so many bad things about this game that I've noticed over the course that I've been playing it. It was fun at first, but it all just went downhill from there. From unfair random courses in Bonus Game Houses, to impossible Toad Rally maps, this game has got it all. Why I still play this, I don't know. Worst $10 I've ever spent. Worth the $9.99. Anyone who can't understand how a mobile game could cost this much is just being dense (and cheap). The game is well and loaded with content. Multi-player mode, hidden coins, bonus games all reward continued play. Like the original SMB, it's a game that anyone can play and few can master. I'm sure that the people who are convinced that the game is "too easy" don't actually play video games and have no idea how to properly approach a Mario title. p.s. Download a survey app (e.g. Google Rewards) if you're honestly too cheap to pay the full $9.99 Full Review

To be honest, I don't get why this game gets such a bad wrap. Super fun to play regardless of the 'boring' controlls. It's a huge time killer, too. And I don't mind paying for the rest of the game- it doesn't even cost that much anyway if you think about it. The Toad Rally and Kingdom Builder features are really cool, too. Graphics are pretty much the same as New Super Mario Bros., not much to say there. They aren't bad, though. All around a great app. Would definitley recommend. Full Review

The main game is too short and the replay value is only collecting color coins. Also too much rng in toad rally. And the only way to collect toad is beating their levels and that makes collecting purple toad take horribly long. With the rng ghost and barely and way to tricks it's too slow. Full Review

Good game, but a bit short. Toad Rally does add some extra game play, but still short This game made me add and payment option to Google Play and I don't regret buying the game. Do agree that it's overpriced, compared to the length I'm not a big fan, of the always online. This is the reason the game doesn't have full score. If it requires to be online when signed in and had a buffer, that you're authenticated for a while afterwards. Since its really annoying to be disrupted by a "bad connection" warning, mid level. The online aspects (Toads Rally), I have no issue with being always online Full Review

Only really interested in tour- the actual game, the rest just seems un-necessary. £10 for the whole game? Sorry, no. £5 maybe? From original review- Mobile data- after the tutorial, why does it download data when I'm on Mobile data? I pressed Home to stop, found some Wifi, went back and it downloaded 60MB from Wifi. I can't use 60MB of mobile data- what planet are you from? I tried getting to Options to see if there was something I could set (and turn the music of), but the app won't let me access the menu- I'm forced to progress through tutorials- I currently stuck having to take part in a Toad Rally, when I want to be altering settings.
