** Play Store Most Innovative Game of 2016 **

Sit on the throne as a benevolent (or malevolent) medieval monarch of the modern age and swipe your royal fingers either left or right to impose your will upon the kingdom. Survive the seemingly never-ending gauntlet of requests from your advisors, peasants, allies, and enemies while maintaining balance between the influential factions of your kingdom. But beware; each decision you make might have implications and unfortunate consequences down the road that could put your reign and family’s dynasty at risk!

Each year of your reign brings another important – seemingly random – request from your unpredictable kingdom as you strive for balance between the church, the people, the army, and the treasury. Prudent decisions and careful planning make for a long reign but unforeseen motivations, surprise events, and poor luck can take down even the most entrenched monarch. Extend your reign as long as possible, forge alliances, make enemies, and find new ways to die as your dynasty marches along through the ages. Some events will span on centuries, with an intrigue involving burning witches, scientific enlightenment, wicked politics and, maybe, the Devil himself.

A game that requires you to invest in it, Reigns ended up being a thoroughly enjoyable experience. While the cards do repeat, the situation changes so you may find yourself needing to ban hats one time around, but not the other. Stylised graphics and a surprisingly fun fencing minigame creates a game which you can play anytime anywhere. 92/100 Full Review

It's a fun game and great idea. The plot is good. The story itself makes sense, but scenarios dont tie into each other at all. And it would be cooler if there was more of an immediate story for the lives in addition to the overall plot of tricking the devil. That would keep it less monotonous. The achievements are lots of fun. The hidden bits and added cards are cool. It's a little buggy. I finished the game and tried to start a new one and it said I had already lived 2 lives. Overall its a good game with lots of replay value. Full Review

A very simplistic yet challenging game. Can be somewhat repetitive with the constant same cards, and some effects seem to have no apparent consequences. Finished the game with the third ending, some choices are far too consequential. It is truly difficult to reign for more than 20 years at a time unless you get lucky. Please implement more cards and scenarios so the replay value of this game is increased. Full Review

I think it was pretty fun, after a while you get tired of cheap, "Free to play" apps that are just a gimmick to get your money. This game was 3 bucks well spent, I've had lots of fun and a few adventures ruling... I've died young and I've died old... Quite proud of my most recent achievement of ruling for 48 years... Update: unlocked a lot more content, ruled for 100 freakin years and died of old age at 113... I wish there was some way to find a wizard that lets you become immortal... Maybe there is... I like this game. It's unique and time consuming, but personally I'm getting annoyed because I suck at it. I haven't made it past 21 years as King and don't know what I'm doing wrong. When I think I'm making a right choice it's wrong, or something weird and random happens that screws me over. I've seen YouTubers get like 60+ years, so I know it's possible. Full Review

I don't normally take the time to write a review, but this game is absolutely worth it. I started playing and haven't stopped. Every decision you make has a consequence and it gives new perspective on text-based adventure games. The controls are super simple but the gameplay is challenging and I have yet to run into the same scenario. Overall, an excellent game and worth the price and more! Full Review

Reign is an entertaining story based game when you're forced to make good and bad decision simply by swiping right or left respectively. Despite the simple mechanic, the gameplay is complex enough to leave you thinking about every decision you make. Furthermore, Reign has some repetitive value as you'll encounter new NPC/things in every run of your game. For its genre, Reign is definitely a must have as part of your game collection. Full Review

It's a fun game but sometimes the yes/no option doesn't make sense for what's written on the card so you're not sure how you're answering. Plus too many things drain your money. I really do like it though! Full Review

Reigns is a fun fantasy game where you play the game via cards that have two options in each scenario. You have to keep all four aspects of you kingdom: The Church, Your Funds, Your Military, and Your People in check with each other. You can't let one aspect completely deplete, or take over everything or you die. Full Review

I absolutely loved this game, and still do. Well, less. You see, I was able to almost complete the game by completing all tasks, but then I was far into the game, and the spirit asked me a question. I swiped left, and then i got an achievement, but the game ended as if i completed it. It's probably an alternate ending, but now I have to start all over. I was about to finish the last two quests as well. (trick the devil and identify the terrorist cell). I'm just confused here, but it's honestly an amazing game. Great job devs! Full Review

Literally Tinder with substance. For real though, I bought this game on steam and got super addicted to it. When I saw it was on mobile I had to buy it again. This game totally redefines mobile gaming. It can be as simple as a yes or a no, but how will you face the consequences? Full Review

I love this game and the art style used. I will admit though, it's annoying when I'm going for a long run, but never get a chance to end a crusade, or anything because I'm not given the card to start that transition. I often times accidentally start it, and then am stuck with it. Full Review

Really fun game with a really simple mechanics. Games are short but varied there seems to be a lot more going on than meets the eyes. This is one of the few games with a permanent place on my phone. Each play tells a different story and the developer has been pretty good with updates. I would probably give 5 stars, but I got to about the 15th king or so earlier today, and it just set me back to the 6th. This is just kind of annoying considering I payed for the game and put time into it and now it's setting me back to half the progress I should have. If this could get fixed, I would say it's worth 5 stars even though it's a little pricy. Full Review

Repetitive after a while, first few days were fun. Quite some luck involved, sometimes there is little you can do to avoid dying. Also, I don't see how too much money would ruin the kingdom for example. In the end, not worth the money, 1 or 2 euro would be a more appropriate price. Full Review

Swipe right for yes, left for no. Taking the simple idea of text-based gameplay and adding a complex layer of impactful decision making, this game sells itself.
