Since the update, I am really hating this app. If I accidentally touch the screen while I'm watching something, it fast-forwards or rewinds to wherever I touched. Then I have to watch a ridiculous amount of ads before I can get back to the right spot. Also, after ads play it always replays the previous scene and then I have to watch the ads all over again. Hulu has updated a lot of technical errors. My only complaint is there is no easy way to provide feedback or contact thru the app itself. It feels like you have to go thru hoops to tell Hulu there is a problem that has nothing to do with needing to troubleshoot. Full Review

hulu's content is still great, and watching on a computer is too. i struggle to understand how an entire team of people consider this a success. searching for clips and sometimes even episodes comes up with nothing. but if you have the time to scan through years of (for example) snl live clips you'll see them there. i've even searched for a clip that is on the screen and get zero results. first media app worse than the washington post Full Review

The new update is UNRECOGNIZABLE and UNUSABLE. If I wanted to struggle for an extended period of time swiping my finger all over a colorful screen I would download freaking candy crush. Take it back to an actual streaming app if you want people to subscribe! Full Review

The new UI is unbelievably touchy and full of bugs. If i tap the screen it skips ahead/behind on whatever im watching, when im scrolling through a list of shows it randomly decides i selected something, then when i try to back out to the list, it will take me all the way to the top. Also, when i updated, it completely cleared my favorites and continue watching lists. Full Review

The UI is absolute trash, talk about wasting screen space. The UX is unintuitive and just horrible, taking way too many inputs to get where you want to go. Color scheme is just gross and it's apparent that Hulu doesn't listen to passing customer feedback. Full Review

Love the app and service, my only BIG complaint is how easy it is to skip forward or rewind backward on my ipad, just a small accidental touch of the screen i have completely restarted the episode or movie, and then have to rewatch all the commercials i just watched - all over again - and then it happens 2 or 3 more times. While I got hulu for the next day tv content, which is a great feature, they recently changed the app interface and it's much worse. The constant changes in background and colors makes it hard to read, the show selections are less intuitive and harder to find content than the old interface, and they darken the screen and bring up show information every time you change the volume. These are just a few examples. I find myself going to Netflix more often now. I wish they would change it back. Full Review

This version of the Hulu app is terrible to use. Everything is hard to find. Scrolling through full screen show displays instead of a list view takes forever! Navigation of shows and episodes is tedious and unpredictable. This app has the worst user experience. Full Review

I like the attempt on the new interface, but ruined the easyness of the app, I liked it when the app opened it took me to my watch list, now it takes me to a lineup. And the currently watching part, takes up the whole screen and you cant touch it without skipping ahead. And the option to choose whats up next is gone, and when watching anime, the app cannot distinguish the sub from the dub so i constantly have to choose the next episode. And when i finish a latest episode from my watch list, it takes me to another random show instead continuing my watch list. I prefer the old hulu app. Tye new Hulu app sucks Full Review

After the update it's very hard to use, you accidently touch screen, it fast forwards to someplace you didn't want to be. Then you rewind and you can't find your place. So frustrating, on the roku it is even worse, totally confusing when it's on autoplay you never know what will be shown next, I really used to love Hulu, please fix it Full Review

With unlimited internet, this app doesn't buffer, at all. It plays for 30 seconds, then loads for a minute, over and over again. It's very frustrating. I have a long commute. It would be nice if the app would actually work, especially as I'm paying for it! Full Review

I love Hulu, but the app needs some work. The biggest problem is that when I cast it to my TV, after a commercial the visual casting just stops but the audio continues. Because of this, I constantly have to restart the entire app several times just to finish 1 episode. Full Review

New version Layout is Terrible! You don't have expiring on the episodes that are expiring, when multiple expiation dates are for shows so I did not try to catch up on a show that had a no marked expiring episodes. It turned out I could have it was a phased expiration of one show at a time as each new show of the new season added an episode the deleted a show from the last season. I had watched most of the pervious episodes but not all I could have caught up if I wasn't binging something else. The app is repeating previously played video after commercials 99% of the time Hulu and Amazon don't. App. goes black. periodically around commercial time, but there is a little less lag than the old app going into commercials overall. Touch the app in the screen and the play will jump forward or back to where the screen was touched this is really annoying. Please fix or make it so it can be turned off!! Please Show a small view of the shows that just went on the expiring list to the expiring list on the top labeled in the lower right like before would be appreciated. Full Review

Just signed up for Hulu and I think the service and selection is great, but this app needs to be updated because when an ad plays, 95% of the time it will rewind the show but at least 2 minutes, and when it gets to the ad again (the ad break that caused the rewind), it'll play again and rewind again. The only way to stop this is to fast forward a little past the ad. This really needs to get fixed. Full Review
